In one dream, long ago, I was momentarily in a very high sacred forest. I was excited because I knew this place and wanted to seek Krisna. I knew he was here. This was His forest.

Then I glanced down and my clothes were extremely fine light-wieght and my arms and slender hands were indigo-blue.

In shock I ran away. I had inadvertantly sliped into Krisna's wonderful body and soon as I was aware of that, shame and guilt made me run away from heaven.

At another time, in a reverie, I was watching god from afar. I was behind a rock in some bushes. I sooo wanted to be with him and his friends. But, when he slowly turned and casualy advanced in my direction, again I paniced and ran away due to knowing all the bad things I had done.

I know he wouldn't care about my sins but "I" sure did.

For me

This is why god had to leave heaven and come into my sad world. God, as the human, "Jesus" then took all my shame and guilt (all the stuff that makes me run away from him and heaven) was beaten, shamed-out then killed slowly. He took all the punishment that I think I deserve. He asks that I accept his payment "in full" of what keeps me from heaven

Then he offers to listen to all my guilt and shame. Accepts my deep apology and repentence. Then accepts my invitation to come into my heart.

When I next go to heaven God the Father only see "Jesus" in my heart. So there is no more reason to suffer guilt and shame that makes me instinctivly run out of heaven.

It also explains why I was bullshitting in my feels thread about humanity's end goal being to end. In reality, I'm actually in total agreement with you and am terribly dedicated to keeping every single one of you alive. I will do whatever it takes.

Your intrepretation is correct if we follow along with mainstream christianity, what a headache huh?

But I think theres way to much over emphasis on the death of Jesus. Its only half the story. The second half is the resurrection. For some reason in mainstream christianity this is really ignored. I mean, sure easter is a big holiday but why is the cross with a suffering Jesus the symbol of Christianity, instead of Jesus alive with open arms?

When the emphasis is placed back on the resurrection then the intrepretation can change. For one its a grand dramatic display that death is an illusion. And for others, it symbolizes the surrender of human ego for the realization of divinity.

The literal unification of Christ with God was done in retrospect, for political reasons. That's why it makes no bloody sense.

What do you mean?

You don't quite have it man. God sacrificed God to God for God's creations, to save God's creations from God's first creations, because God pins guilt on all God's creations because of what God's first creations did, insomuch as God's first creations incriminate God's other creations, whose only chance to be saved from God is to accept God's sacrifice of God to God for the sake of all God's creations as their personal God. Also premarital sex is frowned upon.

Modern Christianity is a creation of the Roman emperor Constantine, as a way to solidify his power over his subjects (by the 4th century Rome was closer to a monarchy than a republic). And isn't it convenient that God happened to have chosen Rome to be the center of the world? That's where the pope lives, so it's clearly the most important place in existence. Of course, Constantine was the first pope. Also interesting.
