Weird. Anyone wanna take a stab at what this might be?

Orange oil paint.

Some kind of algae? Orange paint? Chemical spill? This is a fun game.

Acid rain. Causes a chemical reaction in the soil, which has been previously, but undetected, poluted by a substance that combines with sulfuric acid to create an orange oily slime.

I'm holding out hope for the remnants of a Cheeto-barge that was blown up by pirates, myself.

They're not even sure yet if it's organic or not? Sounds like a big steamy article of bullshit.

I mean how the fuck did it take them so long to find a microscope? I don't know why I assumed they'd have one available. How did they have no one around who could make a proper examination? Why did they write this article before basic facts got out? The article was designed to stir people up for what I assumed was probably nothing.

If they aren't sure if it's organic. Shouldn't they be a tad worried? &I'm also going with the cheetoh barge. I'v seen the effects of cheetoh dust.

Most likely, yeah. It's been said to rain fish, and other animals, but I've never actually seen this happen. Would be pretty cool, though. Haha. Still kinda creepy, though. I mean, imagine playing (or sexing) in the rain, and having fish/crustacean eggs dumped all over you. Lol. If these are crustacean eggs, though, it must have been from multiple broods, because that's a whole lot of crab egg to come from one spot in the ocean.
