have you ever WILD from a lucid dream? it works a bit like that
from the lucid dream you intend to return to your body and project out. Thats the idea at least. I've only tried it once in a dream when I first became interested in the astral
I yelled 'take me to the astral!', to..well the dream. I slammed back into my body. Then I immediately spiraled through a tunnel up. Everything went black, and when I opened my eyes I was in a new world, as vivid and solid as can be. Including my own body. I didn't feel light or airy, I felt as I feel right now. Breathing, weight. I was in a temple of some sorts and there were monks chanting. One greeted me, and I asked him if I was in the astral
he smiled and said yes
and I was like "yeah right, you gotta be joking!"
I wake up shortly after. I doubt my own experiences, but the experience was awesome. WILDing from a dream, lucid or astral, doesn't matter. Best thing to do while lucid is WILD
APrs believe dreams take place in the astral. Yet they also say you need to go back into your body from the lucid dream and project back out to reach the astral-public-area.
Well I had one strange dream where the environment was enclosed with walls. I wasn't trying to go to the 'astral', I just wanted to escape the enclosed environment. Every time I go through one of these walls - which were thick - one of them was eight feet thick - my lucidity would increase. And the dream environment would become less and less surreal and more and more solid.
Eventually the last barrier was a glass wall. I didn't need to break though it this time, for my convenience, there was a sliding door.
That was the last wall I went through, and the environment on the other side was so damn real - I can't even tell you what the difference is after waking. Not to mention my dream characters were telling me, that I was their dream character! After examining my environment extensively, I only found one big difference, I could fly
Im interested in the astral
but I do complain to astral projectors all the time, how do you know if you are in the astral? and not a super vivid lucid dream?
the best answer I got so far was, if it was the astral, you can revisit the place again and again. And revisit people again and again. Unlike dreams, that seem to reconstruct themselves every night
so until I visit the temple monks again - its a lucid dream for now
