If you do not have a partner in your bed you can do alarm/snooze DEILD. I have an I-phone with a clock. It has a 9 minute snooze and I can pick the tone. To activate the snooze I only need to press either of the volume buttons. I take the phone off the night stand the first time and sleep with it under my hand. When the next snooze goes off I only need to move one finger to shut it off, then back into the dream. I daily snooze about 7 times as part of my daily routine. Threw in autostop alarms this morning. Out of the three I plugged in my phone, I was only able to be awoken by one of them and I started the DEILD process immediately. I was in the middle of a dream when I woke up so I started imagining the sensation of falling and visualized something. My hypnagogia set in and I started to get vibrations and heard kids talking. I tried to do a body exit method by rolling out but, It was too soon and It snapped me out of the hypnagogic state.

I am very excited because i had plenty of natural awakenings this morning after dreams and I couldnt transition into a DEILD from those because I kept feeling too awake. I guessed that maybe having alarms wake me up would put me in a more tired state for DEILDs to be easier and I guess it worked out. The only issue now is that, unintended autosuggestion woke me up seconds before my alarm went off.
