Hey there. |
|
You're not in REM and you're not even close to being asleep. |
|
It sounds like you're just not falling asleep. Don't forget, it's essential to fall asleep in order for WILD to succeed. Might be obvious, but really your main goal should be to fall asleep, closely followed by maintaining consciousness. It's better to risk falling asleep and maybe have a DILD instead of not falling asleep at all and have no DILD nor WILD. Just don't "wait" for something to happen, because if you're waiting for something, you're not going to fall asleep. |

If you need any info on WILD, I suggest you read Sageous' WILD posts. They're very helpful. |

You're not suppose to be aware of your body or eye movements if you were in REM. When you delve in to a REM period you will be in a dream. It would've been better to say you're stuck in the stages of trying to fall asleep. Try to lose the intention of wilding in the beginning of when you're trying to fall asleep. Act natural and try to fall asleep naturally. Then when you catch yourself drifting off, should be the accurate time to remain focus to hold on to the little awareness you have at that time. You'll find the process will be much easier at that prior time, rather than having the intention in the beginning. |

DILD: 346| WILD: 13 | DEILD: 10 | FILD: 2 | MILD: 13 | OBE: 6 |
Oh thanks that makes sense, so my WILD attempt was successful after giving up i went to sleep after that i got SP and then into a dream i became lucid after preforming a reality check it was a short lucid dream maybe 30 seconds? |

You're welcome. But I highly doubt that was a WILD. Many WILDs are actually DILDs. Like you said, you performed a reality check in order to become lucid, that's a DILD. Whereas with a true WILD, you would maintain lucidity from waking life into the dream. But hey, a LD is a LD, how you get it is not too important. |
|
True that. |
