I leared about LD's a few days ago and have since been obsessed. Mostly, I have used WILD, but also have tried CANWILD and FILD. I have been trying to do WILD mostly throughout the day (I know, I'll try it at night too) and am fairly close to entering a LD.
My Current Process:
1) Lie in bed and relax, "observing" random thoughts
2) Listen to Isochronic tones (youtube.com/watch?v=GwhXeXur1fY&feature=plcp) while relaxing (using iPod in-ear phones)
3) Not move at all and keep eyes from moving
4) Wait for body to start becoming numb
5) Imagine the scenery of the dream using lucidcrossroads.net
This is as far as I have gotten. During step 5 I start to drift into a dream (I think this is a deeper state of hypnagogic state) involving a random thought. I try to redirect it to be my desired dream, but then I "wake up" slightly and leave the "deeper state".
I just can't reach full dream paralysis and don't know how to solve this issue. I am open to new techniques, so fire away!
