For those who have trouble with Sleep Paralysis and WILDing or have fear of SP.

A Guide of getting over fear of Sleep Paralysis.

I am here to help other people who have experienced Sleep Paralysis, SP.

Here is what I have experienced. One night I was trying to fall asleep, I've had a hard time falling asleep, I was really relaxed and I couldn't move my body while I was trying to sleep. So suddenly I felt a weird experience, I've noticed my ears began to get tight and I began to hear a weird noise. Then my eyes were getting tight as well and everything got pitch black like I was seeing a void like thing. Then all of the sudden everything went blank and I noticed I was about to be in SP when I got out of bed.

I didn't know what to do because my body felt pretty heavy when I was laying down on my bed. So I suddenly remained calm and see what would happen. I don't know if this has happened to other people but I am here to help you deal with this situation when you enter sleep paralysis. Or before you enter sleep paralysis.

So for those who are trying to preform WILD, I suggest some information that could help you if you are trying to get into Sleep Paralysis. I hope this will help you because I know most people get scared and jump out of bed when they start experiencing Sleep Paralysis.

      1. When your about to get into SP, Stay COMPLETELY CALM. You need to stay calm so you can get over your fear of SP. This can help you WILD if you are a WILD type person.

      2. When your completely calm, start visualizing images in your head. Think of something else or try to play a song in your head and try not to freak out. This should keep you from freaking out during SP, because I know once you become SP you can enter your dream state. And once your used to SP. You'll be able to get the hang of it.

      3. From what I have learned from my mistakes. When I was trying have lucid dreams, don't be someone like me, Don't let fear get the best of you. If you want to do something, then go for that goal and accomplish it!

Thanks Merro I shall keep these in mind when I practice WILD. When do you do WILD? I do it every week day, then DILD on the weekends, just to recover my lost sleep.

I'm not much of a WILD person. But I might give it a shot one day. But I do have problems with SP sometimes when I can't fall asleep. Thats why I wanted to post the this thread so I can help people who have problems like me. Glad you liked it.

Um... you just basically said what every WILD/SP guide says.... Nothing new here...

But to give a tip myself too, once you want to get rid of SP, start breathing slow and calmly, or just hold your breath fully. It'll end SP faster.
Not sure about how it works for others, but the opposite of that (breathing fast) makes me able to prolong the lenght of SP.

I've tried the WILD technique before even knowing about sleep paralysis. My body started feeling heavy and all that other stuff but you know what? Never got scared or experienced scary noises and/or hallucinations. After starting to read up on it I've become more scared to try the technique even though nothing bad happened to me the first time. My point being is that I believe it's all in your head. Just like watching a scary ass movie then trying to go to sleep. It's pretty hard sometimes but if you never had watched that movie you wouldn't be thinking about all that scary stuff. That's just my belief but I'm sure if you try and zone everything out you should be fine.

      Cheers!
