Unhappy Keep Falling asleep in WBTB/WILD combination

I've tried for the past three days the WBTB method and I having some trouble inducing a lucid dream, or even SP for that matter. Here's what happens.

      • I go to sleep at 10
      • wake up 5 hours later
      • stay up for 10 minutes
      • Then try to WILD

This usually ends in me waking up 6 hours later realizing I failed. Any help??? I think its when I am counting down from 100 that I usually fall asleep.

You must be too much sleepy, try wake up like 6 hours later and try stay up more time

This should be in the "attaining lucidity" category. But when doing the WBTB method you need to get your mind out of that sleepy groggy state. So instead of staying awake for 10 min, try staying awake for 20-30 min and do something to keep your mind active, such as read something or solve some math equations. I've found what really helps to induce a lucid using WBTB is to read something about lucid dreaming. Also, one last thing, you need to experiment with different wake up times, and how long to stay awake times to find the right combination for yourself.
