If you do get this problem, instead of forcing your eyes open, try to stabilize by touching and holding onto whatever you can in the dream, and yell very loud and clear verbal commands like " eyes OPEN!" which worked for me when I tried it or "increase vividness" etc. Find something that works for you. One time, I was getting up after WILD'ing, and I could feel everything in the dream but the vision was so blurry and movement felt sluggish like I had a 100 pound jacket on me, so I just gave up and hit the floor instead of struggling against it, thinking I had failed. To my surprise, the dream restarted and this time it was extremely vivid, so in some cases you got to keep patient as well.
