      sooo close

      I was tired and it was pretty early. Crashed unto my bed, just looking for some rest.

      After about an hour, i notice my thoughts are flowing faster. I'm hardly even in control. It goes faster and faster. I feel like i'm spinning and rapid thoughts are turning into images. This is it. I hardly even realized what was going on when somebody knocks on my door!... I got to reply.. Someone asked me something about dinner... tomorrow's dinner.. ...

      AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. I handle the conversation acting like nothing's wrong. But inside i wanna lash out and kill someone. As soon as i woke up i completely forgot what i was thinking and what i was seeing. I got forced awake. Not even tired anymore.

      bah.. so damn close. excuse my rant!! wrong thread i guess. But this is self-therapy

      I did WILD tonight!!!! Most amazing thing of my life.. everybody was there in the dream . all from this forum. ima write it down right now

      Thank you Mancon. Ima go back to sleep now it's still 3 am lol! I wonder what's in store for me this time.

      But about the wilding. I think i got the trick now. it's actually really easy once you get the hang of it!

      what the trick? i almost had a successful wild last night but i kinda just let my mind wander at the end ;(

      I guess the trick is to become the obersver of the mind. Not the mind itself.
      You can't force this. You need to calmly wait for a rem-period to kick in and it will go all by itself. Don't do it when frustrated or bored with it. I went to bed early to do a wild. I had this small hour nap a few hours earlier so i was not too tired and not to sleepy. I started reading a book, when i got tired i just tried to relax and dream. After a while i got bored and frustrated, i wasn't that tired tho so i just read another chapter before trying again. I was way calmer in the second attempt.
      I didn't try to force scenes, or mantras i just let it happen. While keeping an observant mindset but i stopped myself from contemplating what i heared and saw. I don't remember the transition but before i knew it i was in a lucid dream.

      First time in months that i didn't smoke anything, and i didn't drink alcohol. That most certainly helped. I got bored a lot and uncomfortable and i just let my urges go, if i want to lie in another position or swallow i just do it. Anyway hope that helped, good luck wilding.

      So, what you're basically saying is to just let things flow in your mind? (Sort of like your mind taking over during WILD?)

      How do i relax myself? That's difficult to answer. Most of the time i'm not relaxed. But i think make sure you don't eat before bed. Make sure ur stomach is satisfied a few hours earlier when you attempt to wild. So ur body can focus energy in the brain and not the stomach.

      If there's a person on ur mind that's making ur heart beat stronger and faster. Seriously sometimes it feels like my heart will explode. First focus on that feeling. If the feeling is negative/pain. Focus on the pain and embrace it. You'll find that the feeling can be exceptionally good it is just ur mind that is associating it with bad things. You can keep holding on to it till you fall asleep and you can even try doing stuff with the mutual energy. But it's distracting and i don't think its very helpful if u are trying to achieve a WILD.

      I said that i let my urges go. But what i really meant was that if i don't feel comfortable i just give up. Either do something else or start rolling around in bed till i fall asleep and dream of washing my hands with tooth paste and trying to get a sun tan (in dreams..)
      When i'm finally calm it's just a matter of lying on my back , kicking back and just chill. I try to put my hands besides my body and lay in a straight position. Otherwise i get uncomfortable quickly. If the odds are right, i'll be in a HI state in no time. Usually i'll see eyes and stuff and hear random sentences and words. I just watch it. Calmly. Don't think anything, especially don't say a word to urself. That's bad. But keep observing. You will know when you get closer and in no time ur in a dream.

      Coming from the guy who has done 1 wild in his entire life haha.

      Haha I just turn my cell phone off (Or on silent), and unplug my home phone.
