      Breathing, Salivating, and twitching

So These are the four things that i can never seem to stop doing when im trying to lay still.

My mouth always salivates so i have to swallow it because it builds up.
I can never stop thinking about breathing.
And sometimes my legs will twitch while I'm laying still, involuntarily of course.

How do I stop from doing these three things? Of course not stop breathing, but stop thinking about it, even if i try to think about something else its the thought of trying to STOP thinking about breathing that keeps me thinking about it.

If you sleep on your back, try tilting your head to the side, or sleeping on your side. As for itching, scratch away. It's better to get rid of that itch right then and there than to have it on your mind for minutes at a time. As for breathing...personally I focus on my breathing. I try to mimic the same rate of someone who's already sleeping.

Really it's okay to swallow while WILDing! Just don't think much of it. Just relax and keep your mind busy. Don't think about your physical body.

Well.. I thought it was good to think about your breathing while WILDing...

Tilt your head back a little so the saliva goes down your throat without you feeling it. As you relax more, you'll pay less and less attention to breathing. If you're really tired, you also don't pay much attention to it. If you have to focus on your breathing, try making each breath slightly lighter than normal, and take each breath evenly to match that of someone who's asleep.

As for the leg twitching, mine do that too. Try stretching and tense-relaxing exercises before bed. Tense one leg for five seconds and then relax for five seconds. Do this a few times, and then move onto the other leg.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.
