Thread: Task of the Year 2021: Bonus Material!

This is a thread for optional bonus material that goes with our current Task of the Year (2021) - The Lucid Dreaming Superhero Training Program

Inside this thread, anyone is welcome to post ideas. They are optional, and not required to finish the tasks and earn wings. They are just for fun!



After Task 3:

As you make yourself at home at your new training facility, you are pulled aside by another team member, who gives you this warning:

“Listen. I know you’re new here, so you have to be careful. There’s this guy – a new villain loose on the streets. He’s already killed three new heroes. He targets them. But just because you’ve got some good stuff, don’t let yourself think you’re immune..

His name is Torpor. If you ever notice the world getting fuzzy, or maybe you just can’t think straight, that’s him. Watch out – one minute you’re aware, the next… well, it’s like you’re in a dream. Anyways.. just be careful – OK?”

Hey guys. This is just a fun little thing I wanted to add, I felt like it was missing from our theme. It’s totally optional, not a task or anything, just something to add flavor. Maybe even tie us together a little bit more. Who knows? Maybe we will even see each other along our superhero adventures.

So here’s our villain. Feel free to suggest changes, or alternative ideas!

Introducing Torpor - Master Illusionist

No one really knows much about this new villain on the scene – except that he’s already killed three new superheroes, and seems to target them. The few witnesses describe him as having an odd, almost fuzzy appearance.

Powers:
- Promotes unconsciousness and non-lucid sleep.
- Will try to make you lose lucidity – often by planting distractions. Sexy dream characters may walk by you, but don’t be deceived! These are his illusions, designed to take away your lucidity. Compelling story plots, dream feasts, and treasures galore might be presented as well, don’t be distracted from your missions!
- He may even try to collapse your dream world!
