I was VKA but I won't vote since I've only just started Lucid Dreaming and have only ever really had a Semi Lucid Dream.

I LD about once a week. According to the test, I'm KAV, but I feel I'm closer to multimodal. Basically, I remember almost everything I've ever heard, seen or done, especially minor things like bits of trivia.

Sometimes I tend to just "know" whenever I dream, and I try to reinforce the feeling by telling myself that I dream. Either that, or I tend to look at my hands. In the middle of the night, I usually do some maths, in order to increase the chance to get a LD.

Do you do waking RCs? If so, which? And do they work - i.e. do you find yourself doing them in a DILD?
I do a few RCs in waking reality. Sometimes I try to feel stuff. But most of the times, I just look at my hands, and then ask myself whether I am dreaming. "No, I'm not dreaming, but it could be a possibility."

N/L (I used to be able to do it around one time a month. However, since I started actively studying lucid dreaming by performign exercises, I significantly increased my lucid dream ratio)

Yes i do the nose RC at least 30+ times/day. And it works extremely well for me.

Both times I've successfully LD'd I've used audio to induce it. I just sort of catch a glimpse of what he's saying, and remember that I'm dreaming, (sort of. Enough to inspire a RC)

Yes. Frequently I do the nose one, sometimes I do the hand one. Both times I have RC'd in my dream to reinforce the knowledge that I am dreaming.

Most often, I can immediately tell whether or not I am in a dream... My dreams tend to carry a sensory ambiance, so to speak, that real life does not have.

Ocassionally I do an RC, usually in the form of looking at my hands, holding my nose, re-reading text. The only reality check I have done in a dream has been to flip a lightswitch.

yes, that´s the only way I get LDs. Sometimes I spontaneously realize that I´m dreaming, or something a bit unusual happens and then do a RC

I do waking RC when I remember to, and mainly when something unusual happens (coincidences, strange feelings like deja vu...) but always determined to show that I´m dreaming (I assume that I´m dreaming until I get several solid proofs that I´m awake, I never do them routinely).

My favourite RCs are: looking for extra/lost/blurry fingers in my hand, reading a text twice and trying to breath while blocking my nose holes (don´t know how to say the last one in English ).

I become lucid in many dreams after doing a RC and failing it

Little success trying to control the dream world until now

I took the tests and it was true for me! K was slightly higher than A, but Visual was usually double the rest.

Yes. For the last while, I became Lucid by plugging my nose. But nowadays, I just suddenly cry out loud "I am dreaming" just seconds after I realise I am dreaming. These dreams seem to have more control and are longer than the nose-plugging kind.

(L) Learnt LDer. I was shown this site by Cyrodragoon (sp) when we met on Quizilla. Since then I have learnt a lot about Lucid Dreaming. It got rid of my nightmares, learning about LDing.

Looks like VKA is in the lead. I need to find out what the proportions are for the general population.

It seems like many people agree that although they practice RCs they don't find themselves doing them in dreams - its just a general awareness of something dreamlike. I don't know how significant this is in terms of how we teach people LDing? I wonder if there are techniques for improving general awareness that work to increase this dream awareness? I've been trying a few - but my ideas are still gestating...

Then there's the Tibetan advice to declare all as a dream!

Who was the other person who got AKV as this is the lowest. I wonder if learning mode/style has anything to do with lucid dreaming.

I've never used an RC in a dream to become lucid, it always just hits me. I'valways had difficulty pinpointing the exact reason for which I became lucid.

During waking life, I do an RC at the top of every hour because of my digital watch, usually by glancing a few times at my watch or the ol' 'finger through the hand' technique. Also, I do an RC whenever anything questionable/unusual happens, of course.

I look at my hands and affirm "I am lucid" when I walk through a door. It never got me lucid thoug, it is a usefull elp is you are semi-lucid especially the nose pinch one...
