Thread: Trying to hack the dreamworld!

Hi!

Last night I had one of the most lucid LDs ever.
I was totally aware of everything.
So I remebered that I wanted to ask the guys in my dreams some stuff.
But first, I flew around and had a good time.
Then, later when I was with two good old friends, i asked one of them:
"How does it feel, being created by my mind? You dont exist."
I got a really terrible answer.
She started screaming, like if she was going to die.
She screamed so bad I had to close my eyes for a second.
When I opened them, she was gone.
I may have killed my dream-friend. What do you think?

That was a scary experience.
After this had happend I consciously let my lucidity and recall fade.

Have you tried this, and what responses have you got?

Dream characters often give unexpected and disturbing answers. I've never had onse scream like your, but "ive had them look at me very sadly when I queston their existence.

Since DC's are a manifestation of your subconcious mind, I guess it sets up a conflict when one part of your conciousness tells another that it does not exist?

This is one of the reasons I like interacting on a mental level with DCs.

Now i dont want to interact with a DC, And now i bet if i ever do this post will make this same thing happen.

Hi, It's pretty normal to have DC's freak out or give threatening answers when you claim they aren't real. I once told someone in my dream "it must feel wierd only being a part of my dream." He got a cruel, evil look on his face, he grabbed me and told me something, I can't exactly remember what but my friend in the dream shot him for threatening me. (it was the girl he likes...ouch, and in real life too)

The only reactions I've gotten have been pretty mild. One of them gave me an evil smirk, and another just had this blank expression on his face and said "No more lemonade."
