Did some progress and i have questions

In today's lucid dream, i made some progress and then I have some questions for you.

I'm in a large space within a building that looks like a school. It's full of students. I have to pee. I find a wc. When I enter, the doorway is suddenly like 2 feet wide. I try to enter but i almost get stuck. I become lucid, go back and say:
-"Wait a minute. An entrance so narrow? I will not force myself to enter. I'm dreaming. I can change this."
I focus on increasing the entrance width and it happens easily.
After using the toilet, I am again in the midst of students but I'm not wearing pants, but I think:
      - "This is a dream. I do not care. They can laugh at me if they want it too."
No one does, I feel fine and I get all dressed up.
While in the crowd, I say:
      - "If someone has something important to tell me, a secret, tell me."
I look at the people and there is one that passes in front of me, looking sideways and tells so that no one notices:
      - "Get the picture. Get the job."
I go closer to him and ask:
      - "What?"
      And he:
      - "Get the job!"
It looks like he is taking some risk saying that. I pat him on the back to thank him and I leave.
Again I ask the same thing and see another one passing in front of me and leans over a balcony and says:
      - "Get the job interview. Get the job."
I also thank him and leave.

My thoughts on this part of the dream:
-One of the progress that i made was to not allow the obstacle of the 2 feet wc entry stop me from continuing. It happened to me in other dreams, to not get into a place by the small entry, and getting stuck. Here, I was calm, and knowing it's a dream, I changed this obstacle.

-Another improvement was the fact that I did not get embarrassed about being without pants in the crowd. Knowing that it is a dream, I did not care about my appearance or with the opinions of others.

-A curiosity was that i'm portuguese, i dream in portuguese and the characters spoke to me in English. I do not know why.

-The most curious part was what they said. "Get the job." I already have a job. I'm not so happy with the job, but I'm not looking for one. Was this a warning for what could happen in the future?

What I want to ask you is:

1-Did some dream character tell you something that you've seen it happen afterwards?

2-Did you follow any advice of a dream character in the dream? What happened?

While I have had a couple of dreams which I think were precognitive in that it would be an incredible coincidence that what happened later was so like my dream, but I think the chances of that are low. And in my case at least it was not as straightforward nor useful, just too weird to be a pure coincidence in my opinion. Most likely, I think, you do not like your current job, and so your dream characters which are part of your subconscious were telling you to consider getting another job. Personally, I do not believe that dreams are prescriptive, they do not tell us what to do in waking life, but you can use dreams to analyze your thoughts and feelings on the matter, and then in waking life you can use the message from the dream along with other thoughts you have in waking life to decide what you want to do with this knowledge, and not doing anything different is a valid option and choice you have in waking life.

Congratulations! That's some great success within one lucid dream
Well I think you already answered the question concerning your job yourself. You are not so happy which is a clear indicator that you might want to change jobs if this oppotunity arises in the future, right? Of course you don't have to, but if there is a chance to get a better job, remember your dream and consider your options carefully.

--> 1 - I never got any predicitions for the future from any DC so I can't help you with that one
--> 2 - generally I'm often freaking out about some minor things that I shouldn't be afraid of... so quite a few DCs in my dreams told me to calm down and just face things without going crazy about them... So I did that and it's true; whenever I encounter a situation in a calm way that's much better and always bring better results with it.

Yes, I did think of that. But what i found strange is the way they said it. Shouldn't it be: "Get another job."? Instead they said: "Get the job." Like there's a future job that i should accept.

Well, not everything in dreams means something, though it might, but it does not have to. if you think about it, any future job you get would be "the" job in a way.

Joanna is right. If you want to be sure however you could still try to find out what it means in the next lucid dream. Just ask some DCs what would be the right job for you. Maybe you will get a decent answer and if not then maybe it just didn't make any sense and it was just supposed to tell you that you should get ANY other job in the future
Oh and keep your eyes open in every of your dreams... Maybe there will be some features that give you any hints concerning your job life? You never know.
