Hey everyone!
Last night was the first night in months I hadn't used an electronic device right before bed, and instead I got in, got comfortable and read 'Of Mice and Men', and went straight to sleep. I had a very vivid dream about scientists inventing a false reality device and I went to the false reality and picked up girls, fought people and got shot by a man with a bow and arrow but the bow had a load of arrows which fired at once, and I remember looking at myself and being covered in holes!
I had a little inkling that it was a dream, I'm not a lucid dreamer, but I may have experienced it before, but I remember that you could look in a mirror to check reality. I looked in the mirror conveniently placed near me, and I was wearing my favourite outfit.
Then, I remember 'waking up'. I was lying in my bed facing the wall with the light on (I forgot to turn the light off) and I stayed completely still for some reason. I started feeling a weird tingling and strange buzzing, clanging sounds when I closed my eyes to try and sleep. Like static in my head. Eventually I got past it and fell back into the dream (I believe).
So a question:
Do you believe that I experienced a false awakening? Have you experienced the strange buzzing sounds before in a false awakening/lucid?
Thanks
