Waking life
Non-lucid dream
Lucid dream

It was around 3:30 AM when I had decided to go to sleep. I was very tired, and just wanted sleep. I lay down and slowly drifted away. I suddenly felt a little bit of SP, and heard footsteps and saw some brief lights and stuff. I calmed myself down and forced myself not to wake, when I heard a very loud bang in the living room outside of my bedroom. I was jolted "awake."

I threw the blankets off of my body and slowly walked to my door. I peeked out and looked into the living room. Suddenly, my Siamese cat runs by my legs and toward the kitchen. As I wonder what spooked him, I realize something.

I don't have a Siamese cat.

I instantly know I'm dreaming. I look around at my surroundings. Everything is so...real. This can't be a dream, it's way to realistic. I hold my nose and inhale and sure enough I'm dreaming. What's the first thing I do? I turn around and dive through my window into the backyard. Outside, I can see the moon hidden behind some clouds, and I think about going to see it closer. Suddenly, my Dad walks toward me.

"Shh!" he hisses. Confused, I try to carry a conversation with him.

"What is it?" I ask. He looks at me with the most serious face I have ever seen.

"You know, you know how you told me how you always wanted to know the secrets of the ocean?"

No. "Uh, yeah, why?" I ask, playing along.

"Because I found them"

He then proceeds to hand me a ring box. He tells me to be careful, that they bite. I open it and it's a blue mood ring. Ignoring his pleas to be careful, I fly to the moon
but at some point lose lucidity, then come back thanks to my dream sister.

On the moon, I jump around a bit, then nearly fall off the moon (?) but end up flying back home and walking in through the door. I look around, then I open my eyes. I'm staring at my pillow, face down in bed. It was the most confusing, wondrous experience ever.
