Sounds pretty good to me |

Well last night I had my first lucid. It started wHen I was on the internet and I found something about Lucid dreaming. I then went, oh I'm dreaming. I kept going "I'M DREAMING!" But then went, calm down and rubbed my hands together. I then jumped and floated back to the ground. So I decided to fly out the window, that was closed. But I thought I could, but I ended up hitting my head on the window. I then changed a banana into and orange. I also said " I want a GUN!" An invisible gun appeared. Then I went, "A visible gun!" It turned visible, but without bullets so I said, "WITH BULLETS", I then decided to have a gunfight like in the movies |

I expected it to be more, well it's hard to explain. More like, say, the matrix. It was like real life, but more fascinating. I thought I would be able to really talk to myself and I thought it would be easier to, well, carry on with the flow instead of it being from scene to scene. Hard to explain... |

Awesome dream. It's always best to note what you ate and what your day was like. It'll help those who are not able to become lucid understand a little better. Thanx for sharing this though that sounds like a really cool dream. Also remember that dreams only last around a few moments right before we wake. Our physical mind sifts this information out during the night because it has to find a way to sift through all that information. Remember, time is an illusion. |

Every lucid is different, so I'm sure you will have all kinds of lucids. And you can talk to yourself in a lucid. It helped me, when I practiced this in waking life. I pretended just got lucid and was saying out loud things like: stabilize! awareness now!, incease vividness, and pretty much anything youl'd like to say. It was really interesting to hear my voice for the first time. For a moment I became aware of my real throat, but was able to talk, even talk louder when I wanted to. BTW, your first lucid really sounds great. My first one lasted 3 seconds and all i got to do is fly around in circles in dark. Happy dreams |

Haha nice dream. This is off topic but...sometimes in non lucid dreams I will be talking right before I wake up and I will actually catch myself actually saying what I was saying in the dream, in real life after I wake up. Like, I will realize Im actually vocalizing and sometimes it is embarrassing. |

If you would like to talk to yourself in a lucid just find any random dream character and ask it a question. I've asked many many questions. I assume though that these people that I see are projections from my subconscious. Try it out, I'm sure it'll work. Don't worry the lucids get better and better but also, it's up to you what you do in the dream and what your intentions are. |

I can't wait to try a bunch of things out in lucids. I just need to work on staying calm and not getting too excited as to wake up. Im sure I could come up with some pretty cool scenarios as long as I keep cool, just talking about it is getting me pumped. |

Remember, don't get too excited. When you first get there, get calm, stabilize the dream, then go. |

Goals: For now, exploration!.
