Lightbulb Are you really satisfied with the quality of your dream?

Lucid dreaming is one easy thing to achieve, it just needs a bit of effort to make. Being lucid also requires a great deal of concentration while maintaining the balance between dream recognition and holding on to it! vividness of the dream is also very important (To me it is the most important of all) because that's what the whole dream is all about. I generally prefer to be non-lucid and have a very vivid dream than to be lucid in some hazy world. I have found that lucid dreams with less vividness limit the actions we do. I would like to know what your thoughts are!

      My dream quality sucks.

I haven't tried anything to fix it, though. Still, its annoying because at the same time I have little control and it's unstable.

That's the point snowboy! Instability kills the dream and that also is due to the lack of vividness! There are numerous ways to achieve vividness though!

I know, I just haven't bothered with it yet.

I tried hand rubbing two times. One time it destroyed an electronic device I had near me, and the second it didn't do anything.

Well, I'm satisfied, but then again my dreams are pretty stable and first thing I always do is stabilize them even further.

Actually, I've found that my lucids are a lot more vivid that my non lucids. Maybe it's just because I am more aware of the clarity whilst lucid. They used to be hazy when I first started, but I think they've really cleared up.

Yeah. That's usually how they are, if not more vivid than reality. Last night while lucid I was looking at a shriveled up leaf, and noticed that if I looked hard enough I could even see the beautiful cells it was composed of. My lucids are generally so vivid and real looking, that it almost looks not real. It's a strange paradox that makes me dizzy.

It really depends for me. They're usually much more clear than they were when I started out in August 2009.

My lucids are generally pretty realistic, UNTIL i start doing things from video games... then it's as if i'm just playing the game. it's really annoying because the main thing i want to do in my lucids is live my games...

      Definitely I'm not satisfied.
I have had quite some lucid dreams, and I can say that 90% of them were just a brief realization or the dream ended quickly. Two FILDs I had were the best, I belive; they were vivid, though short.

Daydream about going first person through a game, instead of just playing them, so long as you know what it feels like, it shouldn't be too hard (especially if you do it at night). I'm pretty happy with the quality of my dreams, since the vividity is now pretty insane like zukins, and to me, vividity lowered my dream abilities a bit. When they were originally a little hazy, doing just about anything was as easy as a drop of a hat, I had to go back and gain control once my dreams became life-like.

But I agree with George, I like vivid non-lucids better than hazy lucids. One day I played call of duty for 15 hours before I went to sleep, then dreamt about it for 6, couldn't play anymore because I couldve sworn that I just finished playing for over 20 hours (but got some fps exp in there )

My lucid dreams are also more vivid than my normal dreams, though probably not quite as vivid as yours. A great deal of my non-lucid dreams are in third person and I often only have the sense of sight and sometimes touch or sound, but in my lucid dreams I can usually feel all of my senses and am astounded by how realistic everything feels.
