Just curious, how many lucid dreamers here have found autosuggestion/affirmations to be a useful aid for improving the occurrence of lucid dreams/level of lucidity? If you have, what are your favorite ones to use? |

I find them useful, my first first LD was due to auto suggestion. |

I use affirmations or whatever & really find them helpful. I would suggest you write your own. I have tried to use others and they really haven't been effective. I would suggest writing or using one that a) that is fun to read, write & think about & b) that is simple enough that a child would understand. This does not necessarily mean short. |

Thought plus emotion creates attitude. Attitude plus action creates experience and experience determines reality
I find them extremely useful. I have never remembered my dreams before I started getting into LDing. I learned about AutoSuggestion and gave it a whirl. The first night of saying "I will remember my dreams." until I fell asleep. I remembered three dreams that night. I've used AutoSuggestion and remembered nine dreams in one night. So use it! It's valuable! =) |

Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon.. must inevitably come to pass. - Paul J. Meyer
I use auto suggestion along with RCing to achieve DILDS. I say do it! |

White girl, you can ask her what the dick be like
And monster madness doing drive-bys on a fuckin fixie bike
Fuck it moron, snortin oxycontin, wearin cotton,
Oxymoron like buff faggots playin sissy dykes
I've used "I will wake up after 6 hours of sleep" to wake up for a WILD, and I *always* wake up. |
