Here's my advice, based on what you've gotten hold of so far:
Use valerian before bedtime to knock yourself well and truly out, so that you will experience more deep sleep in the first half of the night than normally. Then wake up, about halfway through the night, or maybe a little bit later, and swallow the B6 (100 mg should be plenty). At this point you can attempt WILD'ing (doesn't work for me, because I always fall asleep really quickly at that time), or you can simply go back to sleep again.
At a minimum, the B6 should allow you to remember much more detail than you would otherwise have been able to.
This is very close to my weekend routine, but lately I have added L-tyrosine (500 mg) to the B6 at the nightly snack; out of the 6 nights I did this combination, in total 8 lucid dreams resulted. But please note that I also experiment with lots of different herbs (as infusions) - both before bedtime, and during the WBTB-effort (which typically happens after 5 hours of sleep), and this also was the case on the aforementioned 6 B6/L-tyrosine nights.
