The first thing I do when I see an article like this... check the date, make sure it's not April 1st.

I'm not surprised. Some people (almost exclusively guys) seem so obsessed with cars, it's ridiculous. I understand an appreciation that a human might have for a machine that makes life easier, but personifying them so much, and obsessing over features of them that have nothing to do with how much they'll help you get around, gets a bit creepy.

If cars really had feelings and thoughts, I might sympathize. It would be a bit strange, but I'd accept him as different. But it seems he's just lying to himself. He thinks that the cars need "loving" when they're really inanimate objects. They don't need anything. They have no minds. I've personified objects before, felt 'sorry' for objects that I throw in the garbage, or that I'm going to store away for a long time, etc. But those are things I recognize, and as soon as I do, I try to convince myself otherwise. This guy deceives himself. He probably won't even let himself consciously recognize that cars don't have desires at all, and that's what seems unhealthy and wrong about it to me.

How so, he is sexually attracted to cars, that means he has the balls to fuck cars and be open about it no matter what if people think he is weird. He certainly has bigger balls than I. I have to admit, I often assign human emotions to cars, technology, whatever. However, you don't see me sticking my genitalia into the crankcase. How did he keep from hurting his pecker? Maybe he used SAE 10w30 lube?
