      For what? OBE?
Again, i represent my knowledge from flying around in the forum and reading articles.
Try to roll sideways. A First-Timer i read tried the rope thingie, didn't worked out. Then he tried to roll sideways, and found himself falling to the floor (spiritually).
He mentioned that he could only see from his eyes, in his physical body aswell.
Once again, i hope it helps.

What i have done with my sp is rolling out of my body. It's easy to do but i was hardly aware that i did it until i woke up, i didnt really go into a lucid.

I've also tried looking at a limb and trying to move it up and seeing a phantom limb move, this works.

Another method is to breaths slowly and give into the sleep paralysis close your eyes and you'll find yourself jumping out of your body. This i find is the most effective.

Try imagining a familiar scene. Use all your senses, especially touch and motion. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Sometimes a recent memory is easier than a fantastical scene. Imagine running down a familiar street, or walking through your house touching things. After a few seconds, the scene should realize into a dream.

If that doesn't work, you could try rocking or swaying your body in bed until you roll right out of bed.

Remember, once you are in sleep paralysis, you are really close to sleep. Assume you are already asleep, dreaming you are stuck in bed. You just need to exert a little dream control to change the dream scene to something new.

This is a problem of mine too... the transition phase and getting stuck inside the SP. I also often accidentally move my real body, rather than my dream one. However, the rocking/swaying thing was so close to working, last night.

Hold up, can someone explain this rollover technique thoroughly? I start the WILD by lying in a comfortable position and tough it out until I attain full sleep paralysis. How long then do I have to wait until I try rolling over? How do I know I won't be removing my SP and will actually hit the floor face-first? Also, is it okay to open my eyes when I am in SP? Or should I wait until I try the rollover or try not to open them at all until after rolling over? Thanks.

When i rolled over and out of my body it was purely on accident. I just wanted to get out of the SP and i fell off my couch and ran around my house not knowing i was lucid. Then when i really woke up i knew what i done.

How i purposely jumped out of my body was by closing my eyes when the vibrations from the sp was intense, i then relaxed, i didnt fight it. I slowed down my breathing and focused my energy on jumping out. And i found my self jumping out of my body and into a lucid dream.

You can totally do it just truly believe.

Once again; I go after what ive read, not from my own experience since i lack that.
The rollover technique? I can't say more then "roll out of your body"- from SP. Either it's just the brains dream body that should be rolled out, or it's the fact that you're sure you're rolling sideways, but since your body is paralyzed, it's quite a mindfuck and the next phase occurs. I apology for not giving a clear answer to that one. I myself haven't yet felt SP, i guess. I laid still for about 2 hours, felt the "soda" feeling in the legs, arms and finally the spine. Tried to roll - worked for about 60* additional degrees. Then my real body begun to move slightly with it, and i stopped it.
My guess is that i wasn't in complete SP. I did imagine the bed going rather diagonal, moving for vertical. Never reached vertical, i didn't managed too. But i felt that my soda-like "spirit" (?) was halfway out of my body. So i guess it's a technique like the rope thingie, which i couldnt manage at all.
And about the eyes. I still got no self experience, but i would really recommend that you keep them closed until you're in OBE - if anything.

The way I understand it (I also lack the experience) is...

You roll with your dream body. The key is, you're supposed to focus all your senses on your dream body, and you actually need to forget about your physical body (the one in SP on the couch/bed/sleeping place).

My SP is never a complete paralysis. I get very heavy and it takes some effort to move, yes. But I can move if I try to. I do experience SP vibrations. I would imagine it would be once those happen that I would attempt trying to roll. Perhaps use what Robot Butler said and dream that I'm stuck here and rolling out will get me out.
