Hello everyone
I'm 22 and discovered lucid dreaming about 3 years ago. It was an accident the first time, and I didn't really realize what had happened. But then a few weeks later my psychology professor at the time mentioned lucid dreaming in class and I started to do research. I was very motivated and even had a few (though they were fuzzy) through the DILD method I was so excited about the whole experience and wanted to tell all my friends about how great it could be! But nobody really seemed to understand or even seemed interested.
After a few months I quit practicing, but now I am starting again with even more enthusiasm! So far I've had a few more fuzzy lucid dreams, a couple coming from the DILD method again. But even more have been happening in the morning, and I'm not sure if they would be considered WBTB or WILD. Here's what happens: I wake up in the early hours of the morning and lay in bed. I try to relax my whole body. After a while I will begin to feel my whole body vibrating, this is either accompanied by a roaring sound, a sound like crashing waves on the beach, or random voices. None of this scares me because I understand it to be sleep paralysis. I can't even tell how long this goes on for but eventually I find myself rolling out of my bed. Then I get up and do a reality check. I know I'm lucid but my dream room is so fuzzy and unclear! I lose lucidity within a few seconds. I think I need to work on stabilizing the dream.
Anyway, I would love to talk to people who actually want to have conversations about lucid dreaming and if anyone has any advice on stabilizing dreams that would be great too
