      Post My late introduction

Hi, I think I never did an introduction.

      How did I get here?

At 14 I had my first DILD, I never think it was cool but did not realised how cool it was yet.

At 17 I woke up paralysed, feeling as if I was sinking into the bed, having trouble to breath and sensing a bad presence.
15 minutes later I was on google and found the wikipedia page about sleep paralysis.

Ever since I had a lot of sleep paralysis, I saw ghost, shadow people with a background noise of washing machine .

Nowaday I'm 24, having around 5-10 sleep paralysis per month and around 1 lucid dream per month, mainly WILD

I want to improve my capacity to get lucid dreams, mainly because it's funny.

      What do I believe

I believe consciousness is generated by the brain and require a living brain to exist and until death come there will be no way to proving anything else.

Even if I do an OBE there will be no way from knowing if it was indeed an real one or a dream generated by my brain, heck there is even no way to know for sure if you guys are truly existing, I could be dreaming all that.

      My knowledge
At first I did 4 years of electronic engineering, I loved it, then one years of pure scientific courses, advanced linear algebra, quantum chemistery, etc.
Then I got in an engineering school, I took IT a natural continuation.

If electronics makes the body, IT code the mind of the machine.

I read Stephen Laberge, William Bulhman and some others.

      Better late than never Welcome!

A word about OBEs. An OBE is only proven for you rationally if you experience something that is atleast very plausible to not be previous knowledge to you. You might for example seeing your friend watching Prison Break on his computer and that he have a girlfriend with him that you hear him call Jessica. Then you wake up call him and he is baffled and wonder how you could know, because he had never told anyone about his girlfriend and yes he was watching prison break. If this happens one time, it can be considered a coincidence, if it happens many times you can start to suspect that the experienced are indeed more than previous knowledge.

This might look easy to say on paper and experiences like this is what Robert Monroe is describing in his books and he is a very pragmatic man.

Robert Monroe explains his first OOBE. - YouTube

But just as lucid dreaming, to fully know you need to experience it yourself

I am trying to learn to induce experiences like this myself, and I write about it in my DJ so if your interested in my findings so far, which is currently just the methods you need for OBEs, you should check it out.

But anyway enjoy your stay and sweet dreams If you have any questions about lucid dreaming don't be afraid to ask!

      Indeed.

I said that because my only knowledge about OBEs is what I read by William Bulhman.
In his book he say that in his OBE that the astral worlf is a little bit different than the physical world.

for example some objects in his room will be different, not there or other stuff will be here.
Then how can he be sure that he is not dreaming? since he never confirmed seeing something while OBE-ing that was in the physical world without him previously knowing about it?

However yes, if you indeed witness something during an OBE that can be confirmed later you were really out of body.
But I won't believe until it happens to me

Wise. I haven't experienced full proof myself yet, I have however a friend that doesn't even know what it is but have had some very freaky experiences that provided him with information beyond previous knowledge. So I can believe, but I can't know.

For example he met his uncle that he have never met nor had any information about except a picture of him in the living room, because he died before my friend was born and his mother had never really talked about him for uknown reasons until this happend... In this "dream" a man showed pictures of people that had died of drugs and he said, almost screamed to my friend "Never do drugs you can't end up like me, I wont allow that! You got to promise me!". My friend was a little shocked and just nodded, when he woke up he suspected that it might have been his uncle and he asked his mom if his uncle had been taking drugs and if that was the reason for his death and his mom looked angry at him and said "How did you know that?" After a long talk she confessed and told the whole story and well the information in this dream was verified.

Then he met his grandfather that was told to have died of cancer on a boat and all they got of him was a pot with his ashes. He then had a dream where his grandfather told him that he never died although he was dead now, he actually faked his death and never died of cancer. But actually lived in America. Then when he woke up he asked his mom if that could be true, and she said "You know what I have been having the same thoughts, but why do you ask this?". So this was not a verification, but a weird coincidence.

But then the most freakish of them all is when he had a dream, where he were on some weird vulcano and when he told me about it he associated this dream with Mordor and Lord of the rings or something and then he was approached with a whole army of evil demons or something, he wasn't lucid so for some reason he told the demon army to visit his girlfriend xD.
Later that night his girlfriend call him saying "Fredrik I am really scared you need to come here my desk moved on it's own I swear and I feel chills and I am terrified I don't know why..."
My friend immediatelly messaged me asking me what the h*ll that was going on. I could give no good answer...

Yes my friend is basically like Robert Monroe himself I am really fascinated by him, he even learned an OBE method naturally on his own and I am learning from his experiences to induce my own. What he experience during the exit is also a typical description of an OBE.
"I feel myself stepping out of my body like it was just a shell and then I float through my roof and see the inside of my neighbours appartment and I go through each floor until I reach the sky and look down on the building I live in. Here I usually float up to the clouds and fall asleep with my own will because I want to sleep..."

This of course does not provide me with proof that it is real, but since he isn't spiritual nor even knew what an OBE was, I find this very interesting.

      I hope you enjoyed

Lucid dreams and AP can feel very real, but no one has ever been able to prove that any part of them is connected to the physical world. I keep holding out hope. It should be easy to demonstrate a connection if there is one. There just doesn't seem to be one.
