Please explain more of what you do while RCing, same for visualization/concentration and a couple weeks!? I will have to laugh at that, I went 8 years trying to induce a lucid withouth ANY success, of course that is an extreme case, but a couple weeks is nothing really.

Have you tried WBTB? If you are having a hard time sleeping, don't worry about visualizations or meditating. Just wake up, think about dreaming for a few minutes, and then return to sleep with the intention of recognizing the next dream.

Just wake up to an alarm, go to get some water or go to the bathroom, etc. Then go back to sleep thinking and intending on LDing. You can try WILD, MILD, visualizing, etc. In this period of time, they are more likely to work, just make sure you can get back to sleep.

I think you might be too stressed and frustrated to lucid dream. It is a lot easier to lucid dream when you are calm and relaxed. Instead of worrying about trying to get lucid, just calm down and day dream about what you will do in your lucid. Hope this helps

They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
      By dreaming, every day.

      A couple weeks?

Hon, it took me nearly half a year to have my first LD, and that was with constant exercising and reality checking. Trust me, though, it's worth it! (And once you do get past the first few Lucid Dreams, they get a lot more frequent.) You'll get there, but it'll probably take some time and patience. One of my friends started her attempts to Lucid Dream a couple of years ago (before I even heard about LDing), and when I talked to her a year later, she still hadn't had her first one. But, eventually, she succeeded. If you're willing to put in the effort, you'll get wonderful results. Trust me on that. But first you must put that effort in.

Like the person before me said, a couple weeks isn't long enough for most people. Just keep doing the exercises and don't worry about when it will happen. As long as you do things related to lucid dreaming you're bound to have an LD sooner or later.

I discovered LD in 2006 when i accidently became aware that i was dreaming, a conversation in my dream did not make sense to me and made me question my dreamscape.

After having discovered what had happened I read up on lucid dreaming for months after. I was only successful in producing one lucid dream after several months of effort, and eventually lost interest. About a month ago i rediscovered lucid dreaming and took a less obsessive approach to it. In a months time I have had 7 lucid dreams, I think it is something that comes with patience and studying, from my experience the more you want it the harder it is to obtain.

Good luck and dont get dicouraged... Just keep reading about it., and maybe message some of the more experienced members of this site, im sure plenty are happy to help (not me im a noobie .)

i can understand that it can take years as the first guy said but i believe it depends on youre state of mind , you see i found out about lucid dreaming about a month ago and emediately i told my gf about it but she wasnt intrested however just from reading the informations i gave to her she was able to lucid dream that night and any other night of her choosing , now her mind set is very diferent even b4 lucid dreaming she was able to recall dreams very frequently , diferent from me that i couldnt recall dreams for years as the other guy pointed out i do focus on stress manny times i go to sleep and wake up without dream recall and im still tired and probably with a headache and i feel like i focused on stress and problems over night and well shes the oposite of me she has a great ability to let go of stress and focus on whatever she likes , this is why i believe its all about having the right mind set and how you look at the world
