      Was I close?

      I performed like a WBTB.
      What I did was i set my alarm to go off in 5 hours. I woke up, stayed conscious for about 5 minutes and went back to bed thinking about my waterfall (place i want to go in dream) and saying to myself I am going to dream. I began to feel the numbness on my body and eventually as I was envisioning this waterfall, my eyes Literally Began to Go up and down rapidly. It was so insane. I saw a whiteness and what was weird was that my breathing went up dramatically. I started to breathe hard and i coudlnt control it.
      Like couple seconds later, i lost it all...
      My breathe went abck to normal, and eyes stopped shuttering fast up and down.

      Yes, you were seeing some hypnagogic imagery and if you try again and again, you'll get it right eventually and you'll be in the dream. Good luck!

      all i saw was whiteness, i thought hypnagogic imagery had to be of something like object or color not just all blank lightness
