Today, I managed to successfully have for the first time an intentional OBE. I have had them before, but not with any intentions on doing so. I went to sleep last night at about midnight and woke up this morning at 7 am then ate breakfast and relaxed on the couch for about an hour or so. I usually do this every morning, maybe with slight modifications give or take some time.
Anyways, I was relaxed and dosed off partially; this is the thing that got me, I didnt have to wake up at 4 am and wait 45 minutes and then set an alarm to achieve this, it just happened because i figured I would give it a shot. So I started relaxing and then for the very first time I heard the rushing noises and everything, it was actually quite intense. This came to me as a surprise as I was a bit skeptical of some of this to begin with, but not only that, the variety of noises I heard and how loud they got.
After they passed I was able to move out of my body, and I wasnt sure if I did it right, I couldnt tell if I was awake or not.. I find this quite humorous now that I recall what happened, I tried some of the reality checks that I read up on, and I kept trying to do the "push my finger through my hand" or whatever it was, and for the life of me I could not do it
But I could somehow tell everything was just different so I continued on upstairs and then I looked into the mirror. THIS was the actual way I could tell I was not in my body, I looked messed up! hahahaha yeah that was a bit strange
But the most exciting part about having my first intentional OBE today is not only that it happened once, but TEN times in a row
After each time I went back to my body and went through the rushing noises and exited and better learned how to control my movements and was able to actually stay in longer and go further which was exciting.
Hopefully I am able to further replicate this event, but nonetheless I have learned firsthand the process needed to go through in order to achieve an OBE. Definitely worth it.
