Thread: Something strange happened today! Everything got brighter and colors more vivid for about 3 minutes

Hi everyone,

So today at work I was in a conference and I decided to do a reality check. I was not dreaming so I decided to increase my awareness and really look at things. Study how the table felt, look at how the people's expressions, gestures, etc. I then looked down at my hands on the wooden table and I noticed the wooden table has increased brightness dramatically. It reminded me of a time when I took MDMA basically everything gets brighter and more beautiful. I was super blown away. I started looking at the patterns on the chair and they also looked more vivid. Also before I noticed this color change in my head I was saying increase awareness. I tried it again and nothing happened sadly.

I then looked down at my hands again and the color was gone! What was that about?!

not to be rude or something but maybe you are just normally so unaware of things that when you gain awareness you sudennly get to know things for how they really appear to you

that would be quite strange/sad if I was always just not aware of things but perhaps. I think I take in the environment pretty well and enjoy simple things in life. For real, it felt just like coming up on MDMA. I'll try it again in a few days and see if it happens again.
