Hey guys!

Wow! quick responses ^ _ ^

I usually WILD to become lucid, something that happened on accident trying to overcome insomnia over a year ago. My friend suggested trying visualization meditation. Just keep the mind occupied in a way that the body could fall asleep (I am against using medication to help me sleep, but understand that is a personal choice) Anyways, I would create a setting and scenario in my mind trying to make it as real as possible. Eventually I would suddenly realize that I wasn't in control anymore, that the people in the scenario were acting on their own! It shocked me so bad I would wake up. This is before I ever heard about Lucid dreaming and it weirded me out lol but I felt adventurous and kept at it till I could stay asleep once I realized I was dreaming.

I call this unorthodox because I literally create the beginning of the dream, as opposed to experiencing Hypnogogic Hallucinations and Sleep paralysis, my mind goes straight to lucidity.

Now for Dream control I have another method. I have a necklace that I wear constantly in the real world, I call it my Dream Icon. While awake I use it as a tool for meditation and imagine it clearing out all my bad energy, and putting good energy into it. To gain control in a dream if I can't do something I absorb the energy out of my Dream Icon, It works like a charm! Literally! This takes a level of make-believe that wasn't easy to achieve lol, but like I said, it paid off. I now have ultimate control in my lucid dreams thanks to this method!

So, mostly my style is visualization, which is fortunate, now that I am focusing on RC's and MILDS and DILDS I am catching those dreams that aren't WILD and becoming lucid ^ _ ^ I feel very fortunate to have found DV!

I'd say my biggest problem is remembering dream goals once I'm lucid but that is quickly improving!

Thanks again for your warm welcomes I can be more clear about any of this if anyone wants to know more also

Never kept track of how many I had so my LD count is a very low estimation.
