Hello everyone!
New to DV here.
Had a weird episode of sleep paralysis yesterday which got me into looking up things about sleep, stages of sleep, etc. I've experience SP a number of times since I was just going into puberty, which is also when I started to have LD's. I was diagnosed with clinical depression at that time also and when I was 16, I started taking a new depression med and one one of the side effects was vivid dreaming. Man, those dreams were so fun!! I could only control a few of them.
I've known about lucid dreaming before but never really decided to look into it until now. I've had quite a few lucid dreams in my lifetime, some where I'm just aware, and others where I have a little control over it. I don't know exactly how many, but sometimes I would have them at least 4 or more times a week and sometimes it can be a few weeks before the next LD.
I've done a few DEILD's before without actually knowing what it was.
I also have a few superpowers(forgot what you guys call it). Will post in the special abilities forum.
Can't think of anything more to say at the moment, but will post if anything else comes up. Oh, I might start a dream journal sometime. Oh, another thing, LD's and being able to control dreams, share dreams, etc, really fascinates me, but I am still quite skeptical. Seems I thought of a few other things anyways >.>
Okay, gonna go head to other sections of the forum!
Update
Just remembered something else. I also shared a dream with my current husband a year before I actually met him. When I met him online that next year, he told me my exact two dream in perfect sequence with specific details that both me and my mom(told her my dream a year before when I had them), only from his point of view. He told me he had those dreams just that last night. The sharing was prolonged about a year, but maybe time was irrelevant. Interesting huh?
