Nah, you are doing just fine... great, in fact! Remember that you are learning a completely new skill here, one that will take time to gain complete control over. You've already proven to yourself that you're capable of having lucid dreams. (Two in a night, in fact... I should like to be so fortunate!)
So let's look at each element in turn. First, dream recall. The first step, as always, is to maintain a detailed dream journal that you fill in upon every awakening. If you don't have a full dream, place your fragments and feelings in there. If your online journal is impractical for this level of detail, a written journal works great here. This is what I do.
It's also helpful to review past dreams as you fall asleep and really think about what you would like to dream as you fall asleep. Additionally, let me post a tip that I ripped off from the amazing paigeyemps herself: before bed, emphasize to yourself that you must recall your dreams. It is the one thing that is on your to-do list when you fall asleep. You must remember what happened. Now, the second element is getting lucid. The first thing to do here is relax and take your time learning this. You have the ultimate potential to have lucid dreams any night that you wish but be patient with yourself during this process of learning how to get there. It takes time, and dreams are wild things that like to slip away when gripped too desperately. Trust yourself, and give yourself the patience and time you need to go through this process of self-discovery. Enjoy the journey! It's a lot of fun but it will take time and effort.
You've gotten some great advice on awareness in the posts above. All-day awareness practices can be taxing at first, so ease into them, take note of the skills as they build within you, and keep us up to date in your workbook. Keep us updated on how you are approaching CAT. Or if you are still deciding which induction technique to use, check out Lesson II, which is all about that: http://www.dreamviews.com/f151/begin...son-ii-131245/
You've already impressed me. Now all that's left is to impress yourself. Take the time that you need, settle in, and enjoy the ride. You will get there if you stick with it!
