How it works
Instead of repeating "Tonight I will count my fingers and realize I'm dreaming" 100 times, you can do it a little differently, like this:
Tonight I will count my fingers and realize I'm dreaming
Tonight I will count my fingers and realize I'm dreaming and then I will shout "lucidity now!", "clarity
Tonight I will count my fingers and realize I'm dreaming and then I will shout "lucidity now!", "clarity now!". I will take my time look around and notice how beautiful the dream has become
Tonight I will count my fingers and realize I'm dreaming and then I will shout "lucidity now!", "clarity now!". I will take my time to look around and notice how beautiful and colorful the dream has become. Then I take a Yu-Gi-Oh card out of my pocket and summon a monster to fight with.

I will take my time to look around and notice how beautiful and colorful the dream has become. Then I take a Yu-Gi-Oh card out of my pocket and summon a monster to fight with. The monster too weak, I kill him easily and teleport to a dragon's lair.
Why it works
And you can go on forever. Every time you add something new you start from the start. It has the same basic principle: you are repeating a certain think in order to place it in your subconscious. It is actually a combination of visualization and auto-suggestion. I start with a reality check and follow with stabilization because those are at the start and will be repeated the most. It's fun because you can write your own dream and have fun fantasizing. But because you just thought of something new to add, you have to make a slight effort recall the story of your auto-suggestion. So instead of mindlessly repeating the same thing over and over again, you go back and forth from remembering your auto-suggestion to fantasizing about the dream. I hope this is clear to you.
If you have certain things you want to do in a dream, this might be helpful. For example dream tasks from the competition or the task of the month/year, or for personal goals. Perhaps you can make a different story every time you do it with the same elements.
How I got the idea
I thought of this yesterday while lying in bed waiting to fall asleep. I just came up with it randomly. I will report my results as soon as I get them. Also take a look at my PILD idea, maybe you'll like it.
Cheers,
