I want to elaborate on this much more, but only have time for a quick post now. Basically, I have always had vivid dreams, but more and more lately I find myself aware of when I am in a dream. I know how to fly in dreams, how to actually raise myself from the "ground" and fly. This happens more and more frequently but I often find myself getting "stuck" on objects as I try to pass through. Once in a dream, I got stuck as I was flying through an open field and suddenly found myself stuck in the screen door of a house. I once realized I was dreaming while in an old house with a crumbling staircase and as I floated above it, I found myself stuck in the stairs, with an internal view of the fibers of wood, and the closest thing I can relate it to is like a video game "gliching". It's hard to explain but I am hopeful that I will find people here who understand and can offer some insight.
Also, a general question about those of us who do have powerful dream projections... What is the benefit of dream control? I know this question sounds silly... but I know so many people who don't even dream or simply can't remember them. I see articles online that offer advice on how to achieve lucid dreaming and I know it's not easy for everyone. But I find myself awake in my dreams pretty often. So what now? What can I really do with this once I stop getting stuck in screens and stairways?
