I was hanging out with my teacher, and I got a weird feeling so I glanced at my hand and it was normal.. I feel pissed, but actually the dream was still really nice.. Whenever I miss/come close to being lucid I remember most of the dream... |

I feel you! It happens, the hand reality check is a good one but it has never worked for me personally. If it doesn't work for you, try other RC's, looking at a digital clock, looking away and then looking back is a very effective one and also the nose plug one. Also really commit to it, ask what was I doing 5 minutes ago?, an hour ago?, etc., even if you are 100% sure you are "awake". |

Yeah the same thing has happened to me so many times! Not so much anymore though. Ruby, I would recommend taking on a Lucid Mindset. What induction technique/method do you practice right now? And also, the more you practice LDing and the more LD's you actually have, you'll never miss those Lucid Dreams anymore. |

"If we doubted our fears instead of doubting our dreams, imagine how much in life we'd accomplish." ~Joel Brown
"Your background and circumstances may have influenced who you are, but you are responsible for who you become." ~Darren Hardy
Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
-Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams
A good advice I found was to keep always a couple of extra RC's under the sleeve. That way, if you're not sure, you can use them to confirm your suspicions. Take into account that you have already questioned reality, and if you're not sure you can take that as a good sign. Recently I started to do that way, and apparently it's working good. So, my advice would be, just don't throw your RC away, use more RC's than one to confirm, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. |

Always check your hands twice if they look normal. Once might give a false positive, but the second time is nearly impossible to have the right hands... |
