Thread: When my girlfriend lucid dreams -.-

so i was woken up in the midlle of the night by my girlfriend last night. what did she want you might ask?

"Ethan oh my god i just a lucid dream!" thats right, to my astonicment, this girl who dose not practice lucid dreaming just had a lucid dream wile i struggle on with my attempts -.-

her account goes like this, she is dreaming of playing with my kittens (yes i have kittens) at my house and all of a sudden my face appears and says "is this a dream?"
she quickly realises it is in fact a dream and suddenly appears back in her bed (which she was sleeping in at the time) she is up on her elbow facing the wall in this lucid dream, she gets the feeling of being sucked backwards, she also described it as scary as if she was gonna be eaten by something huge, the dream fades fast and she wakes up.

cool huh? well yes but very annoying for me -.- some people are so lucky.

has anything like this happend to anyone els?

Well, yes. Natural lucid dreamers aren't unheard of, I often have spontaneous lucid dreams myself. Remember that lucid dreaming is a skill: some people have a natural talent in it, while others have to work for it. That's okay, just keep trying and you'll eventually get there. Eventually you'll be a master yourself, and you'll think it was worth the effort!

You talking about it probably caused her to have hers. You will be very lucky if your girlfriend becomes enthusiastic about LDs. It will benifit both of you.

hahaha I was partly annoyed because I was lying next to her trying to wild and then she drops this bomb on me! hahaha

but yes I do believe it is my fault. she ALWAYS sees me doing my reality checks and I talk about ld's often sooooo hahaha XD

if anything it has given me extra motivation!!!!!!!!!!!

has it?YES. My brother had 5 LDs spontaneously,and has lasted 15 minutes, and has flied, after I told him about LDing, and he doesn't train or have spontaneous LDs ever. I had 4 LDs after 3 and a half months of training. He now trains, and is like all of us, dying to have his next ld. Trust me , that luck wont last long. The only reason my brother(or in your case, your gf) is lucky is bcz he now knows the true potential of LDing, and as we all know, people who know the true potential of LDing are a small percentage. for us, the hard part is already over .You are fortunate, as much a your gf is.

Why are you annoyed? After all, you were the one that appeared in her dream and told her she was dreaming, so it's pretty much all your fault.

I know only 1-2 NATURAL lucid dreamers.
They think they are all that, psh.
