Thread: Mantra assistance

I'm keen to get a better understanding from experienced LDs when they employ mantras.

Is it typical to employ them before bed? As we fall asleep? During the day?

I suppose I am trying to figure out what works for me but also try and get a good system in place.

With work 9 - 5 I think it's important for me to really nail down an effective process. In between RCs through the day it gets hard if I'm also trying to recite mantras!

I've had pretty quick success with the mantra "I wake up and remember my dreams" generally when I'm in bed. My recall has improved to 2-3 dreams per night and generally I'm waking up right after them.

When do people recite their mantras? And how often do they switch them up?

Like when do I switch from dream recall to lucidity prompts? Do I use several at once? Say one for recall and one for lucidity, one after the other?

And for that matter what is the general consensus on how to word a mantra if I make my own. I've seen a lot of comments about not being open ended so the mind knows the intention is immediate.

Does anyone use a mantra to increase vividness?
