Just a simple fact of you drinking water before bed and thinking about how it will wake you up after a dream may acctually wake you up after a dream.

But if you look at suggestions with "that won't work" attitude, then it won't work for sure. Huge part of lucid dreaming, remembering dreams, waking up at desired time is believing in yourself and in methods and tips, no matter how crazy or unlikely they seem.

LOL, yeah, I do that every time I remember, and when I go to bed at decent time. Sometimes it wakes me up, but all I recall is some fragments. Then it seems like I'm getting up just a few minutes too late. But other times I'm able to write down a dream. And what's more, it makes me happy and motivates me to do more.
