Hey Dreamiviews.
I have tried to research a little about how naps work but I can't seem to find any info beyond the usual:

- Your awareness is more alert during naps
- You skip deep sleep and go directly to R.E.M

In particular I would like to know why we go directly into R.E.M or if it is even correct. What are the physical differences between regular sleep and naps and can you nap at night?

I like understanding stuff compared to just knowing how to use it

Ps. don't feel bound to what I stated above. As long as your information is related to naps and not extremely common knowledge I wanna know it!
