I began trying to lucid dream in late August this year as an 'out of Uni project', having done research in 2009. I found that I could easily part decide what I dreamt straight away, by flooding my brain with favoured imagery, sound and stories, and this works well. By sheer fluke, I had my first level 2 (or 0 major) LD within about a week of trying, which prompted me to take it all seriously and begin a dream journal. After 24 dreams (two level 2 LDs) my dream signs are pretty apparent, and last week, I started taking a Choline tablet every night, it needs to settle in of course, and I haven't noticed any difference. I have noticed however that if i pretend that my last drink is some kind of dream inducer, that makes my dreams be what I want too...it's psychological.
The thing is, I always forget to reality check and it's holding me back, I'm so forgetful that I'm sure I'll never keep it up, so what do you think so far, any suggestions?
