Does it feel like it is real life? |
Chances are that no, since it IS a dream so if you end up finding that your dream is better then real life you'll mostly just stop remembering it's a dream then wake up as usual, and I think you also have limited time in your dreams, you can't just dream forever. |
I don't know about the wanting to stay asleep part, but yes it does feel like real life. Especially when your dream recall is really good. |
Lucid dreams, gotta love em.
What I do in my dreams definitely feels real, and sometimes even moreso than reality since I'm within my own mind and not having to take outside stimuli into consideration. That feeling of "real-ness" is what keeps us from becoming lucid in the first place. |

I can see where you huys are coming from and since i joined i have had 3 dream that is in my DJ but only 1 that i can remember later that day and was long enough to think about as a story and that seemed so real and yet i forgot to RC. It was was obvious it was a dream as i am no jet pilot lmfao. So yeah it must have felt real enough to keep me from noticing something was up. |
most of my dreams are very real. I feel every sensation and emotion there is to feel. Sometimes my senses or emotions are more vivd or intense than in waking reality. Many times things seem so real I don't realize I'm dreaming. Something is usually bizarre about the dream though. I never have dreams that are like real life where I'm just sitting down doing some mundane task, having a conversation, working, or watching TV. Something is always "off", or it looks slightly hazy, or the scale of things is way off, besides whatever bizarre of exaggerated situation is taking place. |
Yea i know doing normal everyday things in a dream would be so boring, i just started here and in my DJ there is nothing boring like that yet lmfao |
It feels real yes, but wanting to stay in the dream forever? No. |
Dreams can feel even more real than waking life. Even if it didn't you probably wouldn't realize it was a dream unless you are a lucid dreamer because we are like programed to not realize it. |
Ah lucid dreaming. Another way to break a rule our body sets for us. To bad our body sets these limits in the first place. Like having limitless power in dreams but programming you not to realize it's a dream. Or incredible strength that can only activate in dangerous situations. The way I feel is that the human body can do a lot more than what most people think but our body puts limits the what it lets us do with it. |

Unfortunately, for me, dreams don't feel that real |
Lolwut.
Tell me (anyone): Are lucid dreams easier to make feel more realistic with practice? |
I think this thread belongs in the newbie zone but anyways, from practice you can obviously make your dreams feel more vivid and real. But most of the time you only realize it was a dream till you woke up or became lucid, so yes dreams can get very real. |
Almost to real. Like last night I had a non lucid dream that seemingly lasted 1 and a half weeks and nothing was out of place or unrealistic. |

They kind of vary for me. I've not had many, but I had one that lasted a few seconds but was totally clear and real feeling. |
The feeling during the lucid dream is very real for me. I can touch the walls and they are solid. Food is very tasty and smells are very real. It's pretty crazy how the brain can create sensations like that! I think the feeling of elation after a lucid dream is just...incredible. |
