Does anyone else ever experience just... odd instances of math not adding up during a dream? Now, I'm not saying "1 + 1 is 7" but more in every day situations. I'll show you two examples from dreams of mine:

Last night, as in my DJ, I dreamed that I was out shopping. When I went up to the counter I had my purchase. Now, the clerk at the counter tried to hard sell a t-shirt to me: "It's only 20 bucks, and 2 dollars for shipping." And I was actually confused by why I'd have to pay shipping if I could buy it right there (this made me think that I was close to Lucidity--the fact that I was critically thinking a situation). He then goes on to say, "It'd be the best 2 dollars you've spent." (Here again I think I bordered on the edge of Lucidity. Because in my head/dream I remember thinking: Waaait, wasn't it 20 dollars?"

My second example is this: I was discussing showtimes, in a dream, with a man and his wife for the movie "Inception" (kinda funny, I think). In the dream I was at work, meaning it was before 7PM. So I told the wife I was going to go see the 7:20 showing of the film. They said they'd rather go see a 9:30 showing so the husband could get more sleep. I remember, in my dream, thinking: Wait, wouldn't a 9:30 showing get him less sleep?

Do you guys think that my critical thinking, while in dreams, is part of the dream? Or is it me hedging on lucidity?
