I brought up this question because I experienced something unlike anything I've ever experienced in the early morning that I was writting this. Basically I remember lying in a bed in sleep paralysis on my side, when I started feeling this odd sensation around my thighs. This continued for what felt like half an hour when I successfully snapped out of it. That's when it all hit me. I got up in a different bed. So, was it a dream, then? I don't know, I felt the sensation for a couple seconds even after I woke up. I also remembered that my eyes were closed when I was still in that state, and I didn't just think I was in this other bedroom, but I even vividly remember seeing the dream room from a third person perspective while my eyes were closed. I don't even know how to process this. Was It a dream where I was having sleep paralysis? Was it some weird sleep paralysis episode where I was so convinced that I was somewhere else that I saw the saw the room around me? Did I leave my body for second? I don't know.
