Thread: Dreams when waking

A lot of times when I am really tired my mom goes to wake me up to get in the shower... i go ehhhh and say be up in a few.. then i realize i need to get up and think about getting up. Then I fall into a dream where i wake up and get in the shower and its so realistic.. then i wake up and realize i dreamed about getting up.. what is this?

These dreams are called false awakenings.

If you get in the habit of doing reality checks when waking up, you can do reality checks in these dreams and become lucid from them.
