Lately I've been thinking about this. There are some elements of my dreams that flow as normal life/time would, in first person and with a "natural" sense. However, sometimes I can appreciate fun elements that, after waking up, remind me of the cinematographic language. This could be a particular angle/point of view when I'm watching a scene as an spectator, or the lighting of a landscape that looks especially prominent. Sometimes it could be more complex things: I remember dreaming some weeks ago about someone shouting "You can not hit me!" when someone else was threating him, and immediately the scene changed to a hospital where that guy was covered of bandages in a pretty comical way. That jump from one scene to other looked just like movie shots, and I'm sure that my mind learnt that from all the movies I've seen until now.

Can you recall any cinematographic element from your dreams? How intense could be the influence of movies over our dreaming? Do you think we could use that influence during our awaken life to inspire different dreams?
