Do you ever dream you're someone else?

Do you ever dream that you're someone else? I have them every now and then. I'm seeing everything in first person but I'm just not me. I'm sometimes even male. I thought this was normal but I asked my boyfriend if he has dreams like that and he said no. I also asked my dad and he said no. Is this odd?

Hmm, I don't have them frequently, but I have had gender swapped dreams, and dreams where I am a different person, although still male. The weirdest one I had was when I was a gender swapped conjoined twin and I controlled both sides of the twin at the same time. Anyways, as long as this isn't a problem for you then I don't see why it should really be classified as odd, seeing as it's normal for you.

I have one like once a month or so. They don't bother me and I've always had them

Yes, I once dreamed I (A man) was Rainbow Dash.

It's far from the first time though, I never was all that "Secure" in "Being a man" though I'm aware of being male. I've had dreams of transforming my body to be female, I've had dreams of being transexual though I don't feel as if I'd actually want to do that in waking life.

I'm beginning to wonder why I dreamed of being Rainbow Dash in particular and not Pinkie Pie or some other Pony.

Because Rainbow Dash is awesome I've never dreamed I was a fictional character. I have dreamed I was in Hogwarts though. I know I'm not transexual either, I'm happy being a woman.

Oh, yeah, I have those all the time. You have no idea how many times Harry Potter!Me has fought Voldemort.

The crazy dreams are the ones where I'm more than one person. I say something, then I'm the person I'm talking to and so I reply, then I'm back to being me... now those ones are creepy, trust me.
