Years ago, after i finished my studies and I was working in the office, I had a dream, in which I was a garden keeper. I was working with flowers and gardens. For over a week, I had the strongest feeling, that I missed my calling and I should have been doings something with flowers. Right now, years later, I'm not working with flowers, but I have a job that is my dream job and I wouldn't change it for anything.
So in my case, I would say, that dream reflected my love of nature. And had I changed my job then, I probably would have been happy. But I didn't, and I got an incredible opportunity to move half way accross the globe and after many years of doing something else, I got a job, that I really love.
I think, there is more than one avenue to happiness. If you think about what you want to achieve in your life, your mind listens to it and when it sees the opportunity, it will give you hints, in form of gut feeling and ideas.
If I was you, I would keep making plans of what I want to achieve. Keep an eye open for opportunities. And when they come, grab them.
As you falling asleep, think about the move and ask your higher self for help, guidance. You may have a dream with some briliant idea. But don't rely just on dreams. Make a list of pros and cons and take your time making your decision. Good luck.
That was a good post.
First, I chose my name as three. Gab, you made post #9 on this thread, made at 3:39. That is 8 (eternity) sets of 3. There has to be something to it.
But I still can't help but wonder - what if we heed the first clear call of our dreams? I like the fact that you seem so happy, without regret that you did not follow the call to work with flowers that you heard so clearly in your dreams. For a moment I am relieved. You did not follow the clear call of that dream. What if you did? Do you ever wonder? I would love to hear again that you do not regret, that you feel you were not supposed to follow that dream but to understand love from that dream.
From my reading of what you wrote, the opportunity that you got to move to the job that you love now came soon after that dream. So the dream of flowers was a hint - not to follow a career with flowers - but a hint of love to come. Do I have that right?
Are these moments of nature, these visions of flowers and moons in our dreams just Creation seeping through, talking to us and reminding us of the feeling of love so that we might be inspired to follow love ( and joy and peace and hope) in our lives? Or are they very direct clues that we follow if we dare?
Perhaps part of the daring comes down to trusting the interpretation that we have about our dreams. Yet, dream interpretation is a gift that so few have. Is it hard to interpret dreams? Or do we kid ourselves to think that it is? Perhaps it is easier to interpret dreams than we think. IF we listened to our dreams, trusted what we thought and acted on what we found out after careful reflection then, well, we would be....
What? Living our dreams?
