Thread: Messages from subconsciousness, post yours!

I'm I the only one that really feels sometimes that your subconsciousness is trying to tell you something? Like a few days ago i had been frustrated (about stuff) for a couple of days and then i had this dream(nonLD):
I'm in my room tearing my hair off and shouting beacuse my father and brother wont let me sleep. I go to the living room and I take down the television so it nearly breaks. After that i finally get to sleep when they just stare at me and propably think what i just did. I "wake up(nonFA)" and my father says:" Instead of getting all violent why did you not go listen to music by the lake instead?"~ I wake up. I t really felt like the dream was trying to tell me to relax instead of just making the situation worse when things get hard.

Here's a few more of the comments iv got from DC's:
"Allways look onto bright side of life"
"First you need to give up all fear"
And propably the most epic motivational comment from a glass creature that shatters an entire cityscape: "Here you can be anything"

Your subconsious is often trying to tell you things and help you out. Especially, if you are full of emotions about something, if you are thinking about how to solve some problem. Our dreams do reflect what we do, see, hear, think during day.

Well actually, I don't want to sound weird, but my subconsciousness talks to me directly all the time. Not only when I am dreaming, I hear it as a voice in my mind or something.

The only bad thing about this is that sometimes it keeps repeating sentences or parts of a movie/advertisement which is like I could hear the subliminal messages these were trying to pass. Which is helpful to avoid inception from them.

I don't know if my experience is the same way as yours, but i can literally hear BIRDS in my left ear. The birds always do the same noise over and over which last like 3 seconds and then loops again. Im glad this happens only when i pay attention to it ... phew.

That i really miss my dream guy and vice versa

When I first started my dream recall improvement efforts when I joined DV, my subconscious told me that while my waking self had quit the psychological addiction to a previous online forum, my subconscious in dreams had not let go yet. However, as soon as I got that message, the dreams changed and I got over it in dream life as well. Then I had a whole bunch of "lessons in being proper" dreams which told me that my subconscious was struggling with reviewing my moral values and self esteem, but once I interpreted those dreams and consciously acknowledged them, my dreams appear to have relaxed a bit on the morality lessons. The vast majority of my dreams now are about dreaming, which is a clear message from my subconscious that I am now obsessed with dreaming as a subject, to which my conscious response is "Yes, tell me something I don't know." LOL

"I'm hungry" And then I woke up.
