I Had Sleep Paralysis in a Dream

Last night before bed, I set the intention that I would leave my body and remember the experience, and that I would enter sleep paralysis.

I had a frightening dream about tall alien greys in my house, and in the woods outside. During the dream I saw a boomerang shaped craft high above.

Anyway, in the dream, I was asleep in a bed in another room in the house, and I woke up with sleep paralysis. I felt as if the tall grey was coming towards me, but I couldn't see because the covers were in the way. I was in this state for a few seconds, and realised, in my dream, that I could have a LD or OBE from this condition. Just then, I woke up in my own bed and the paralysis wore off.

Anyone experienced this before? I did a search but nothing specific came up. I thought it was kinda cool!

I experienced something similar this summer. I was dreaming that I woke up in my old appartment in my old bed and I knew that when you wake up you have much more success on doing astral projection. So I tried it (in my dream) and it happened very quicky and easily. It was far much easier than in waking life. Suddenly I found myself flying in my room and I knew that if I won't get back to my body I will loose memory of this astral projection experienced. At first it was a bit hard to fly and I felt gravity, but I quickly managed how to fly. I knew that astral travels are hard to remember and it is recommended that first ones are short, so after few seconds I got back to my body and just then I woke up in my real bed. It was strange experience. From that time I realised that a dream can simulate everything.

I have had a few WILDs where I wasn't in SP, but it felt like I was moving through molasses. I couldn't break it enough to enjoy the dream, but remember, SP is normal, and you break it by moving. If you can't, you are dreaming. It feels weird to shake it off, but with practice it gets easy.
