To simplify the idea, it's simply to create a kind of independent life-form using only your thoughts.

Yeah, I'm not explaining much here. But if you don't want to click that link, ask any number of questions, and I'll answer them all. I'm just the kind of person who always plays black in chess - reactive.

I read an e book atleast a bit of it, the chapter was about this voice companian that he got from astral projection related things that gave him logical and spookily true advice.

this sounds alot like it but my problem with this is, he never really got to explain it yet. When are they going to update the blog so we can learn how to make "mental" companions?

I understand abit about it from reading the blog but not how to do it!

The blog is really interesting and worth the read though,ill come back later and see if its updated.

While that sounds sorta cool, that's not what's happening in this. It's not anything mystical at all. It's an experiment in the subconcious, and all the resulting effects. I did originally post this in Beyond Dreaming, and if it was like that it would be right at home there. But we're keeping it on a scientific base, so it belongs here instead.
